Diamond Pythons are a medium sized python from Australia, averaging 6-8 feet in length. They are also the southernmost ranging of any python species, inhabiting an area from the Central Coast of New South Wales to extreme Northeastern Victoria. This range makes them incredibly tolerant to low temperatures. Diamond Pythons are the nominate race of the Morelia spilota complex, which includes carpet pythons.
